LANSON
Lanson Moore
I have always understood things, people, feelings, places, almost everything in a visual way. I am also a complete dreamer, and like to create things using my own imagination. For me, art is a tool to expel the strong thoughts and feelings I have. Sometimes art becomes an addiction, and in particular this relates to my strong interest in life drawing. I think this comes from always having been a people watcher. I love learning of the differences in people; the way we move, our shapes, the tiny lines that differentiate us from anyone else, the way the body can express who we are inside, and above all the beauty of it; inside and out.
Since my travels in South America and other life experiences, I feel like my art is much different to what it used to be; less rigid and contrived. I believe the more we experience, the more we develop and grow and begin to understand the diversity and unpredictability of life.
I hope one day, through much practice I will have found a style which defines me from other artists, but more importantly one which allows people to understand what I think and feel.
I hope one day my art will reach out to everyone, but this will take much time because I am only just beginning my journey.
